2. Sandor Kocsis – (Hungary)
Matches : 68
Goals : 75
Goals/game : 1.10
Another Hungarian breaks into our list with a bang. This time, its Sandor Kocsis. Again, an important member of the Mighty Magyars that dominated world football with great success and style, Kocsis was a perfect definition for a goal machine. Averaging more than a goal per game, Kocsis was the top scorer at the 1954 World cup and was also the first player to score two hat-tricks in a world cup. He also holds the record for having the goals/game ratio in a single world cup finals competition (2.20).
