Known to be one of the most deadliest strikers of all time, Puskas notched up an impressive 84 goals from 85 matches for Hungary. He was a prominent member and also the captain of one of the most successful national team, the Hungary team in the 1950s. With regards to their domination in world football, the Hungarian side were nicknamed the Mighty Magyars. As a result of the Hungarian Revolution, Puskas was forced to migrate to Spain. He managed 4 caps for the Spanish side but failed to score for them. He was extremely successful in the club competitions as well.
