2. Yusuf Pathan (RR) – 37 balls
The record of second fastest IPL century belongs to our very own, Yusuf Pathan. In early years of IPL, Pathan was an integral part of the Rajasthan set-up. Chasing down a total of 213 runs against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2010 at Mumbai, Rajasthan was put back to contention in the game when Yusuf scored a 37-ball ton, meaning an astounding strike-rate of 270.
The ruthless right-hander was just irresistible on that day and it was a brilliant run-out by R Satish which ended his stay at the crease. The Baroda all-rounder had whacked 9 fours and 8 sixes in the innings though his side fell short of the target by 3 runs.
