9. Juan Cuadrado (Fiorentina to Chelsea)- £23.3 million
Pace, skills and an eye to pick a pass with great crossing ability. These are the qualities that any winger in football would love to have. Juan Cuadrado was seen by many as a player who possess all these traits. After having an impressive season with Fiorentina in the Seria A, Cuadrado had an even stronger World cup with his Colombian national side. These were enough to generate interest in the winger from some of Europe’s top names. Chelsea, however won the battle to sign Cuadrado and in February 2015 was announced as a Chelsea player. The exciting winger failed to break into a Chelsea side that was dominating the Premier league with their brand of football. The big money signing is currently on loan at Juventus.
