This season was very special for the fans as they saw two batting geniuses, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli at their very best. de Villiers played many memorable knocks this season and entertained the fans thoroughly. His ballistic century against Gujarat is considered as the best of the season by many. While his unbeaten 70 odd runs in the qualifier-1 against the same side to rescue RCB from 29-5 to chase down 158 runs made Virat affirming that this inning confirms why AB is the best batsmen in the world not him. ABD smashed 687 runs at an average of 53 and strike-rate of 169.
