8. Shane Watson
One of the most graceful and stylish opening batsmen of Australia, Shane Watson was a maverick, indeed. Watson had an unfulfilled Test career though we saw every bit of his magnificence in ODI cricket. The Queenslander will be best remembered for his back-to-back match winning centuries in Semi-final and Final of the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy. The Aussie all-rounder had also played a momentous knock in 2015 WC quarter-final match against Pakistan under testing conditions. The right-hander also holds the record of highest Australian individual score of 185* runs in ODI cricket. He has also hit the third highest number of sixes for Australia in 50-0vers cricket.
In 190 matches, Watto stroked 5,757 ODI runs at an average of 40 and an exceptional strike-rate of 90.
